To strengthen our team in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a Rechtsanwältin / einen Rechtsanwalt (m/f/d) in the area of Antitrust / Foreign Direct Investment.

What to expect:

From day one, you will be comprehensively involved in demanding mandate work. At White & Case, as an Associate, you will have the opportunity early on to take on responsibility within your own team and the entire practice group – together, we face new, exciting challenges every day! This includes varied tasks with an international focus, including:

• Supporting demanding national and international merger control proceedings as well as foreign trade law investment control proceedings (FDI), including complex Phase II proceedings and cross-border coordination of parallel proceedings
• Advising and representing in national and European antitrust proceedings before antitrust authorities and courts
• Ongoing strategic advice on topics related to M&A transactions, Compliance, distribution (antitrust) law, and cooperation between competitors
• Representation in antitrust-related dispute resolution and in antitrust damages claims

What you bring to the table:

Do you bring – ideally already several years of – experience in the field of Antitrust? Are you attracted by international economic contexts and complex issues, and are you outstanding legally? Do you communicate confidently in English, think beyond the purely legal horizon, and prefer working in a team?
