For a technology-oriented company in Hörsching, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of special purpose machine building. In this position, you will develop customer-specific machines for international industrial customers from sectors such as Automotive, Electronics, and Battery Manufacturing and accompany projects from design to commissioning. You will work closely with the Electrical Engineering, Software, and Application Engineering departments. 1 Mechanical Design Engineer Special Purpose Machine Building (Full-time, Hörsching)

Your Tasks:

• Design and development of customer-specific special purpose machines and systems in 3D-CAD
• Development of mechanical concepts and elaboration of detailed machine designs
• Selection and design of mechanical components as well as purchased parts
• Creation of manufacturing drawings and technical documentation
• Accompanying assembly, test runs, and commissioning of the machines
• Collaboration with the Electrical Engineering, Software Development, and Application Engineering departments
• Further development of existing machine platforms and design solutions

Your Profile:

Must-Haves

• Technical training in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable discipline
• Experience in the design of special purpose machines, automation systems, or industrial machines
• Practical experience with 3D-CAD systems, ideally SolidWorks or Inventor
• Technical understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and mechanical engineering
• Good English skills

Nice-to-Haves

• German skills
• Experience in the field of automation technology, robotics, or production systems
• Experience in working with interdisciplinary development teams
• Hands-on mentality and interest in accompanying machines even during assembly and commissioning

Salary & Framework Conditions

• Monthly gross salary from € 3,500 to € 5,000 (14 salaries annually), depending on qualification and professional experience
