Whartons Garden Roses are the largest grower of garden roses in the UK, with over 80 years of horticultural expertise. We grow and supply around 1.5 million roses each year to garden centres throughout the UK.

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and reliable individuals to join our team.

The work can be physically demanding at times and would suit people who enjoy working outdoors and are looking to start or develop a career in horticulture.

The role

Working as part of our team meet seasonal production targets, your duties could include:

• Planting in fields
• Propagation
• Grading, trimming and quality checking plants
• Preparing roses for despatch
• General nursery and horticultural duties
• Working as part of a team to meet seasonal production targets

Previous plant or horticultural experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided, and candidates without previous plant experience are very welcome to apply.
