Legal Counsel
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to provide legal and commercial support across the Group's business operations and projects. This role will suit a legal professional with strong experience in construction law, EPC contracts, contract negotiation and commercial advisory, who is comfortable working closely with business stakeholders and external legal counsel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial and contractual matters, including contract drafting, review and negotiation.
- Review, negotiate and finalise construction and EPC contracts, and support project-related commercial, contractual and claims matters.
- Advise business units and internal stakeholders on legal and contractual issues.
- Support the establishment, restructuring and closure of subsidiaries, branches and project offices.
- Liaise with and manage external legal counsel and consultants.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law with 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Strong knowledge of construction law, with significant experience negotiating and finalising construction/EPC contracts.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willing to travel when required.
