Join the team as: Financial Accountant

We are looking for a person with solid accounting foundations and knowledge of international standards, as well as an understanding of Smurfit Westrock's FRG, collaborating with the records that impact the business's financial statements. With a high level of analysis and assertive communication, teamwork, a service attitude, and a focus on strategies that allow for good control and monitoring of operations.

Requirements:

• Education: Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• English C1
• Competencies: analysis, control and monitoring, assertive communication, coordinating multifunctional teams
• Experience: Preferably 1 year, working with operational and corporate areas.

Knowledge:

• Manufacturing
• International Accounting Standards
• SAP,
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point)
• Ability to adopt new technologies

Responsibilities:

• Communicate and coordinate the guidelines for reporting operations under the responsibility of SW.
• Review intercompany operations with the different SW entities, ensuring the issuance of Invoices when a charge needs to be made, and verification and payment processing when we receive a charge, so that there is correspondence between the operation balances.
• Participate in month-end closing processes, RFQ projections, and Budget.
• Follow up on SG&A expenses; propose savings projects and perform projections for Budget and RFQ scenarios for these.
• Execute the calculation and recording of intercompany profit elimination to ensure no duplication of profits exists.
• Conduct constant training on the use of tools for financial information reporting such as HFM.
• Prepare templates that facilitate analysis and decision-making for the business.

• Bachelor's degree 2 years of experience
