We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technologist, Contamination Control to join our team in Amphoe Si Maha Phot, Thailand. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling contamination levels across our operations. You will work to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and product integrity while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational protocols. This position requires a systematic approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in contamination control practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead contamination prevention initiatives to improve product cleanliness, manufacturing yield, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and continuously improve contamination control strategies, engineering standards, monitoring programs, specifications, and best practices across products, manufacturing processes, equipment, and cleanroom environments.
• Drive Real-Time Particle Monitoring (RTPM) and environmental monitoring performance by reducing false alarms, minimizing contamination events, and implementing predictive monitoring solutions using particle sensors, airflow monitoring, and data analytics.
• Lead complex contamination investigations involving yield loss, customer complaints, reliability failures, and manufacturing excursions using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, FMEA, DOE, SPC, Fishbone, and statistical analysis).
• Identify contamination sources and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurrence and improve process robustness.
• Optimize cleanroom performance through airflow engineering, environmental control, contamination reduction, and advanced monitoring technologies.
• Evaluate, qualify, and deploy advanced contamination control technologies, cleaning processes, filtration systems, automation, and analytical solutions.
• Analyze contamination trends and manufacturing data to provide technical recommendations that improve operational efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing robustness, while developing contamination control roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technicians through technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and capability development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, and prepare technical reports, business cases, and strategic recommendations for senior management

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Master's or Ph.D. degree is an advantage.

PREFERRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in contamination control, cleanroom engineering, semiconductor, HDD, electronics, precision manufacturing, or related industries.
• Proven experience leading complex technical investigations and contamination improvement projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and influence stakeholders.
