HR Advisor Fixed Term Contract
Your tasks
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle while taking the lead on a significant TUPE transfer project.
As HR Advisor, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting a major TUPE transfer, managing the process from planning and due diligence through to employee consultation, transfer, and post-transfer integration. Alongside this, you will provide comprehensive HR support across the wider business, partnering with managers and employees on a broad range of people matters.
- Lead and coordinate TUPE transfer activities, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition.
- Provide expert advice across employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
- Support organisational change, restructuring and redundancy programmes.
- Coach and support managers on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Manage family leave and flexible working cases.
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting through HR systems.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development activities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to deliver an excellent HR service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR position.
- Strong hands-on TUPE experience, including consultation and transfer activity.
- Solid employee relations knowledge and experience managing complex casework.
- A good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and experience using HR systems and reporting tools.
- CIPD qualification
