You will be required to provide labor under the direction of the Foreman to bring about completion of landscape maintenance jobs. Involves skillful use of vehicles and equipment. Requires a strong personal consideration for safety. WORK HOURS Typical hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., five days per week. Weekend and after hour emergencies may also be required. COMPENSATION $19.50 per hour depending on experience. OTHER COMPENSATION Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pension/Annuity Vacation/Holiday Pay Sick Time Credit Union Bonuses QUALIFICATIONS A valid CA Driver's License Must be physically fit & pass pre-employment physical Must pass company driving test Reliable transportation REGULAR JOB DUTIES Attend crew meetings Load and unload trucks with logs, brush & debris weighing up to or more than 50 lbs Keeps work area clean and orderly Assist in traffic control Services/Fuels vehicles and equipment Cleans vehicles and equipment Assist other crewmembers as needed Operate brush chippers, dump trucks, chain saws & various hand tools Ability to work in adverse conditions CERTIFICATION/LICENSES RECOMMENDED Class B Driver License ISA Certified Treeworker and/or Arborist WCA, Inc., has a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with LiUNA (Labor International Union of North America) and its local affiliates. Rules regulating wages, hours and working conditions are determined by the terms of the CBA and applicable law.
