Senior IT Architect

We at WeQuel are now looking for an experienced Senior IT Architect in Södertälje. You will be a key part of the customer's Data Analytics domain, focusing on setting up and maturing architecture, information models, data models, integration patterns and governance processes. You will define target architectures, document future-state solutions and make sure data, integration and business needs stay aligned. The role combines architecture leadership, hands-on design, advisory work and capability building. You will work closely with managers, project leads, product owners, domain stakeholders and other teams to guide architecture and support decisions. As a consultant with us, you get to work with one of our customers, who are leading companies in automotive, industry and engineering. You will help build sustainable data and integration architectures that meet business needs and long-term strategic goals. Your responsibilities: Establishing and developing architecture, information patterns and integration patterns in the Data Analytics domain

Designing data structures, governance processes, information models and data models in line with business requirements

Designing and defining integration structures and architectural principles

Creating, updating and maintaining architecture documentation, target states and integration flows according to the customer's standards

Developing and maintaining the overall system landscape architecture

Strategic architecture and technical guidance to managers, project leads, product owners and domain stakeholders

Supporting architectural governance and alignment with established standards and principles

Mentoring and coaching designated internal team members to build internal architecture capabilities

Hands-on guidance and knowledge transfer to help develop independent architects

Working with stakeholders on architecture decisions and long-term development of the domain

You will work in a complex environment with many stakeholders, dependencies and competing priorities. You will bring clarity and direction while building capabilities that last within the team and the organization. Requirements: Extensive experience as a Senior IT Architect

Experience with Data Analytics architecture

Relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience

Fluent English and Swedish, spoken and written

Strong knowledge of information modelling and data modelling

Strong understanding of integration architecture and integration design

Experience designing information models, data models and integration architectures

Experience documenting architecture, target states and system landscapes

Experience creating and maintaining architecture documentation and target-state designs

Good understanding of governance processes and architectural principles

Experience establishing or supporting governance frameworks and architectural standards

Experience advising senior stakeholders on architecture

Experience mentoring, coaching and developing internal team members

Able to communicate and document complex architecture concepts in a structured way

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Able to work at both strategic and operational levels

Structured, analytical, proactive and self-driven

Communicative and collaborative, able to influence stakeholders at every level of the organization

Strategic thinking combined with a practical, hands-on approach

Enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others grow

Passionate about architecture, continuous improvement and building long-term capabilities

Nice to have: Experience with large-scale Data & Analytics environments

Experience with AI agents and agentic systems

Experience with enterprise-scale architecture environments
