Project Manager within Life Science
Are you a project manager with experience from pharmaceuticals, medical technology, or biotechnology and ready for the next step? We at WeQuel are currently looking for several colleagues who want to work as consultants for our customers in Stockholm, Uppsala, and Södertälje.
About the role As a project manager with us, you will become a key player at some of Sweden's leading actors within pharmaceuticals, medical technology, and biotechnology. You will drive projects in highly regulated environments where structure, communication, and delivery capability are crucial — and where your work directly contributes to quality, time, and budget being maintained.
Since our customers drive everything from technical investment projects to validation assignments, production improvements, and cross-functional change initiatives, you will have the opportunity to work broadly and develop within several areas.
Commonly occurring tasks:
- Plan, lead, and follow up on projects within time, budget, and scope
- Drive cross-functional teams with participants from QA, validation, production, engineering, and R&D
- Ensure that projects are implemented according to GMP and applicable regulations
- Handle risk assessments, status reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Drive change controls and documentation related to the projects
- Coordinate external suppliers and consultants
- Contribute to continuous improvements in project methodology and working methods
Who are you? We believe that you have a university degree in engineering, natural sciences, or equivalent — preferably with a focus on life science. For us, relevant experience also carries significant weight, so if you have built up your competence through several years of work in the field, you are just as warmly welcome to apply.
You have experience in project management within pharmaceuticals, medical technology, biotechnology, or another regulated industry, and since we are searching broadly, we welcome both those who have taken their first steps as a project manager and those with many years of experience behind them.
You are confident in project methodology and have a good understanding of how to drive projects in a GMP-regulated environment. Certification in PMI (PMP), PRINCE2, or IPMA is meritorious, as is experience with agile working methods. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
As a person, you are structured, communicative, and driven. You find it easy to build trust, gather people around a common goal, and keep many balls in the air at the same time. You are unpretentious and find it easy to familiarize yourself with new businesses, which is a great strength in the consultant role.
