Material Manager – Procurement & Logistics within Vehicles

About the assignment As a consultant via WeQuel, you will work within the Procurement and Logistics department, belonging to the Vehicles production unit – a unit with approximately 280 employees with expertise in procurement, logistics, management, technology, and maintenance production. Your main task is to ensure that the maintenance production has optimal conditions for an efficient operation from a warehouse and material supply perspective. The assignment is located in Älvsjö with travel to depots in Södertälje and Bro. Your tasks Calculate reorder points, safety stock levels, and other material management parameters

Develop material flow and control functions for consumables and repairables

Identify repairables for preventive maintenance and follow up on processing in the maintenance system

Monitor and follow up on delivery capability from suppliers

Develop and follow up on forecasts and plans in collaboration with other units

Identify improvement measures as well as drive investigations and system development

Requirements for the assignment University Engineering degree with a focus on procurement and/or logistics, or equivalent experience

At least 5 years of experience in logistics, processing flows, and material management

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written

Merit: Knowledge of Maximo

Experience in electrical and traffic safety or vehicle management within the railway industry
