Interim Manager x3

We at WeQuel are now looking for three interim managers for Göteborg and Stockholm, where you will become an important part of the client's pilotage operations with a focus on strategic and operational leadership. The assignment involves leading and developing the operations during a period of change, with responsibility for business management and decision support within a socially critical organization.

As a consultant with us, you will have the opportunity to work with one of our clients who are leading actors within shipping and socially critical infrastructure, where you contribute to leading change work, strengthening business management, and creating sustainable solutions for future operations.

Your tasks: Management and development of the pilotage operations in Göteborg or Stockholm

Change management and business development

Combination of strategic and operational leadership

Preparation of analyses and decision support

Business management and follow-up

Management of subordinate managers (if applicable)

You will work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your own workflow forward while simultaneously collaborating with several interfaces within the organization.

Requirements: At least 2 years of experience as an interim manager

Academic education in leadership, management, logistics, shipping, or equivalent experience

Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written

Documented ability to combine strategic and operational leadership

Experience in change management, business development, analyses, and decision support

Merit: experience of leading managers as well as experience from 24/7 operations

Suitable background, e.g., operations manager, regional manager, business manager, interim manager, logistics and transport management, or experience from port, airport, defense, police, emergency services, or other socially critical operations with round-the-clock operations

Assignment details Start: 2026-10-20

End: 2027-10-19 (the assignment can run up to 12 months, approx. 1,700 hours)

Scope: 100%

Location: Göteborg or Stockholm

Remote: 40% (some possibility for remote work, approx. 2 days/week), the rest of the time on-site

Interviews are planned for 7–8 October 2026
