Engineer (Electrical)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection electrical systems. This role offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities within the fire safety industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, laying out, and installing fire protection electrical systems, including fire alarms, to meet project specifications
- Support senior engineers by conducting site inspections, performing system testing, and assisting in commissioning activities
- Prepare, update, and maintain accurate technical documentation and electrical drawings for fire protection projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues to ensure reliable operation and compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate timely and smooth project execution
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma/NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in fire alarm or fire protection systems
- Strong communication skills to collaborate within teams and with external partners
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project requirements
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment
