o Search, visit, and evaluate factories to supply materials for high-end furniture:
- Natural stone, glass, and ceramic table tops.
- Wood and veneer (FSC certified and EUDR compliant).
- Metal frames (steel, stainless steel, powder coating, plating).
- Subcontractors for veneer pressing, curved plywood, and finished furniture.
o Check factory capacity, machinery, and production quality...
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Wood Processing, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience:
o At least 5 years of sourcing experience in the furniture manufacturing industry. o Solid understanding of wood, veneer, natural stone, ceramic, glass, and metal processing. o Good understanding of FSC and EUDR requirements.
