As Product Manager (all genders) – IoT Platform, you will take responsibility for a crucial part: the cloud- and web-based platform behind our networked hardware fleet. Your work lies at the interface of internal tools, event-driven platform logic, and the scalability of operational processes.

You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders, particularly with the System Performance, Customer Success, Technical Implementation, Installations teams, as well as other Product & Engineering teams.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Ownership: You take end-to-end responsibility for a strategically important part of our IoT platform – from problem and requirement identification through prioritization and implementation to continuous further development
• Strategy: You develop and manage the product strategy for operational tools – from configuration and rollout to monitoring and fleet management
• User focus: You understand the challenges and needs of the internal users in our operations teams and translate these into scalable product improvements
• Platform capabilities: You are responsible for event-driven services such as the recording of parking space occupancy and other platform-based functions arising from device data
• Scalability: You ensure that the platform logic is reliable, transparently monitorable, and scalable – even for increasingly complex and business-critical use cases
• Collaboration: You work closely with Engineering and coordinate across Operations, Product, and Leadership to align technical frameworks, user needs, and business priorities

INSPIRE US BY

• Product experience: 3–5 years of experience in holistic responsibility for complex software or platform products – from problem definition to implementation and further development.
• Technical understanding: You feel comfortable with backend, cloud, and system architecture topics and can speak in-depth with engineers about technical trade-offs.
• Stakeholder & data competence: You are strong at bringing cross-functional teams together and making product decisions based on data, monitoring, and user feedback.
• Suitable background: Experience in the areas of platforms, SaaS, infrastructure, operational systems, IoT, or hardware-adjacent environments – including internal tools – is an advantage.
• Architecture knowledge: You are familiar with distributed systems and event-driven architectures and know technologies such as Kafka and MQTT.
• Language: Fluent English (C1+) is required, German is a plus.
