Part Time Nanny – Oakland, CA

A family in Oakland, CA 94606 is seeking a reliable, part-time nanny to provide gentle, active in-home care for their infant son, who has a rare genetic variation making him susceptible to seizures and developmental plateaus or regressions.

Schedule:

Start Date: ASAP

Monday and Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Total: 10 hours per week

Family Specifications:

Smoke-free home

Family has 1 pet dog

Responsibilities:

Providing tailored infant care and personal care support

Actively engaging the child through reading, play, and age-appropriate developmental support

Comfortably following established seizure precautions and care plans

Changing diapers and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment

Requirements:

Prior experience working with infants

Must be able to reliably commute

CPR/First Aid certification

Preferred:

Experience with special needs, disabilities, or specific medical considerations

Compensation:

$25 - $35 per hour
