Caregiver – Fremont, CA

A family in Fremont, CA 94538 is seeking a warm, reliable caregiver to perform morning check-ins for a 72-year-old gentleman living independently with Parkinson’s Disease. This is a pet-free home looking for support with meal pickup, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and engaging companionship.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

2–3 hours per day (10–15 hours per week)

Flexible morning start time between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM

Family Specifications:

Care recipient lives independently and values his autonomy

Pet-free household environment

Family values an engaging, patient caregiver who can encourage participation in hobbies and active routines

Responsibilities:

Provide morning medication reminders to ensure morning doses are taken properly

Provide companionship, initiate and encourage engagement with hobbies, and accompany client on walks

Pick up takeout meals from a local favorite restaurant nearby

Assist with light housekeeping to keep the home clean and organized

Requirements:

Prior experience in senior caregiving

Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for food pickup and local errands

Physical ability to assist with walks and light housekeeping tasks

Preferred:

Experience supporting individuals living with Parkinson's Disease

Compensation:

$27–$29 per hour
