DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calculate comprehensive quantity take-off of structural, civil, and externals.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
- Assist the Project Manager in the reconciliation & certification of final bills of contractors, suppliers, vendors, and consultants of the project.
- Forecasting the cost of different materials needed for the project.
- Track changes in the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Engage in claims discussions.
- Updating anticipated contract value.
- Maximizing entitlements & recovery of claimable costs incurred.
- Visiting the site periodically to view progress & possible variations.
- Costing of variations & new rates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer or equivalent.
- At least 5years of relative work experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
