QA/QC Officer (Structural works)

Job Title: QA/QC Officer (Structural Works) Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Construction Location: Singapore Job Responsibilities Conduct quality inspections for structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications and relevant standards.

Monitor site activities involving reinforced concrete works, formwork, steel reinforcement and concreting.

Conduct inspections before, during and after concreting works to ensure quality requirements are met.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on quality-related matters.

Prepare and maintain inspection records, checklists, quality reports and other QA/QC documentation.

Identify defects and non-conformities, recommend corrective actions and follow up to ensure rectification.

Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients and relevant project personnel.

Ensure structural works comply with approved method statements, inspection and test plans, and project quality procedures.

Assist in preparing quality documentation and reports for project submission.

Job Requirements Diploma or relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.

Relevant experience in QA/QC for structural construction works will be an advantage.

Knowledge of structural works, reinforced concrete construction, formwork and steel reinforcement.

Familiarity with construction drawings, inspection procedures and quality documentation.

Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.

Responsible, meticulous and able to work independently at construction sites.
