Assembly Technician

Read shop drawings and wiring diagrams Read Bills of Materials (BOMs) to determine component parts and assembly sequences of electromechanical units Make electrical connections according to specifications Assemble parts, and position, align, and fasten assemblies, subassemblies, using hand tools and power tools. Modify parts by drilling, tapping, countersinking, etc. machine tools, power and pneumatic hand tools. Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Measure parts to determine tolerances, using tape measures and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts. Comply to all company policies, guidelines and practices. Requirements Willing to learn and work in other functional department of the plant Able to select tools determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Ability to operate cordless hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools. Ability to read shop drawings and wiring diagrams preferred. Ability to read standard tape measure. Ability to work in a cohesive team environment. Possesses at least O Level/A Level/ ITE or High School Diploma or equivalent
