Frontend Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a frontend engineer who is passionate about B2B (business-facing) products; experience in consumer-facing (C-end) development is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise the frontend of internal systems and selected consumer-facing pages.
• Continuously improve the frontend architecture to enhance system stability, scalability, and user experience.
• Contribute to the internal efficiency platform, integrating AI coding tools to streamline development, debugging, testing, and code review workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of frontend development experience; outstanding fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and React, including knowledge of React's internal workings.
• Familiarity with Git, Node.js, frontend build tools, and frontend engineering practices, with a basic understanding of backend development and API design.
• Ability to reproduce design mockups with high fidelity, with good coding style and architecture design skills, and hands-on experience in performance optimisation and browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex, with practical experience using them to break down tasks, organise business and code context, and complete development, debugging, and refactoring.
• Ability to understand, review, and correct AI-generated code, validating results through testing and runtime verification, and taking ownership of deliverable quality.
• Rigorous work ethic and a proactive attitude, with strong communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience in developing internal systems (e.g., approval workflows, HR, payroll, finance, or data analytics), or in using or building low-code platforms.
• Experience in building AI coding workflows, such as codifying project rules and Skills, or integrating development tools via MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Full-stack project experience with AI-assisted coding as the primary approach, covering frontend and backend development, database design, API integration, deployment, and verification of code quality and runtime results.
• A strong inclination to leverage tools, with demonstrated interest or practice in engineering efficiency, user experience, performance, or information security.
