European Key Account Manager (m/f/d)

Introduction The WEIG Group is an owner-managed manufacturer and processor in the paper and cardboard industry with plants in Germany and South America. With over 90 years of experience, we supply well-known customers in a wide variety of industries. To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for proactive support as a European Key Account Manager (m/f/d) effective immediately.

Your Tasks ✓ Support, further development, and expansion of existing Key Accounts at national and international levels ✓ Development and implementation of customer-specific sales strategies as well as identification of market and growth potentials ✓ Management of product development projects in close cooperation with Product Development and other relevant specialist departments ✓ Responsibility for tenders, offer management, as well as price calculations and price negotiations ✓ Processing of customer complaints and coordination of sustainable solutions ✓ Close cooperation with Production, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Customer Service ✓ Analysis of relevant market and sales KPIs as well as derivation of suitable measures ✓ Representation of the WEIG Group at customers, trade fairs, and industry events

Your Profile ✓ Completed vocational training or degree in a relevant field, alternatively a comparable qualification gained through further training or many years of experience ✓ Several years of experience in managing major customers and expanding Key Accounts in the packaging and folding carton industry is desirable ✓ Experience in goal-oriented negotiations with major customers as well as knowledge in cost calculation and accounting ✓ Proficient use of the MS-Office package as well as relevant CRM applications ✓ Willingness to travel (2-3 days/week; usually day trips) ✓ Business English at a negotiation level, other foreign languages an advantage ✓ Confident appearance, teamwork skills, strong communication skills
