Weibel is experiencing significant growth, and we are looking for a NPI Development & Test Engineer to join our Production Engineering team in Allerød.

At Weibel, we develop and manufacture some of the world's most advanced radar systems. Our low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment gives you a unique opportunity to influence products throughout their lifecycle, from early development to stable production.

As part of our Production Engineering & QA team, you will play a key role in ensuring our products can be tested efficiently and manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Technical anchor and world class expertise

In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine hands-on engineering with process optimization. You will work on everything from developing automated test solutions and solving production challenges to supporting new product introductions and collaborating with suppliers. Your expertise will contribute directly to product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and the successful scaling of innovative technologies into production

Your primary responsibilities include:

Develop, maintain, and optimize production test solutions for electronic assemblies and modules.

Design and implement automated test equipment, software, and processes.

Contribute to Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities.

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and transfer of new products into production.

Troubleshoot test equipment and manufacturing issues in collaboration with Production and R&D.

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve quality and production stability.

Provide technical support to Procurement and Production, including supplier collaboration, technical evaluations, and issue resolution.

Create and maintain test specifications, work instructions, and technical reports.

Drive continuous improvements in manufacturing processes, test coverage, and production efficiency.

Your Profile

We expect that you have an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

In addition, you can recognize yourself in several of the following:

Have experience developing automated test systems and production test solutions.

Have experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or similar technologies.

Possess strong troubleshooting and debugging skills within electronics and test environments.

Have a solid understanding of electronics, instrumentation, and hardware/software integration.

Are familiar with manufacturing processes, DFT, DFM, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Enjoy collaborating across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain functions.

Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
