BUILDING CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to plan, coordinate, supervise, and manage electrical installation and engineering works for projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and supervise electrical installation and engineering works to meet project requirements
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate electrical works with Project Managers, consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to facilitate smooth project execution
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and rectification of electrical systems to ensure quality and safety
- Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and safety regulations
- Prepare and review technical submissions, method statements, work schedules, reports, and other project documentation to support project progress
- Monitor project progress including manpower, materials, equipment, and electrical work quality to maintain timelines and standards
- Identify and resolve technical issues by providing engineering solutions to minimize project delays
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation and workmanship standards
- Assist in testing, commissioning, handover, and project completion activities to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure adherence to company procedures, workplace safety requirements, and relevant electrical standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to supervisors, technicians, and site personnel to enhance team performance
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and project works
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong project coordination, technical problem-solving, and site management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors
- Willingness to work at project sites and flexible hours when required
