Job Responsibilities

Site Supervision

  • Supervise and coordinate daily building construction activities on site.
  • Monitor site progress to ensure works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, clients, and relevant authorities.
  • Monitor manpower deployment, work productivity, and construction progress.

Technical Duties

  • Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues.
  • Prepare work schedules, method statements, and technical submissions.
  • Conduct site inspections, measurements, and quality checks.
  • Resolve site technical issues and coordinate design clarifications with consultants.
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities.

Quality Control

  • Ensure all construction works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Carry out inspections and maintain quality records.
  • Monitor rectification works and follow up on non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure materials and workmanship meet project requirements.

Safety Management

  • Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations onsite.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and site procedures.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Maintain site records, inspection reports, and as-built documentation.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and monitor site resources.
  • Support the submission of shop drawings, technical documents, and project reports.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in building construction projects.
  • Good knowledge of building construction methods, project coordination, and site supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other construction-related software.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and under tight project schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional building projects.
  • Knowledge of Singapore building regulations, construction practices, and quality standards.
  • Possession of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)certifications will be an advantage.
