The successful candidate will portray an image of professionalism in a polite and courteous manner and be able to initiate solutions to any array of situations and maintain the confidentiality of the company.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the property management industry. The primary duty is to provide administrative support to the company?s accounting and operational staff. This role includes, but is not limited to, reception type duties, owner/tenant communications and junior level bookkeeping as well as performing other administrative duties
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responding to enquiries from telephone, walk-ins and emails
- Writing and distributing emails, letters, correspondence memos
- Scheduling
- Filing
- Copying/Scanning/Organizing
- Maintaining recordkeeping systems
- Maintain contact lists
- Data entry
- Transaction processing
- Assist in the preparation of reports to internal and external parties
- Information gathering
- Support other bookkeeping and administrative functions and assist colleagues whenever necessary
Qualifications
- A combination of education, training and experience is required
- Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great focus and strong attention to detail
- Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive
- Ability to manage multiple daily deadlines
- Adaptable to new responsibilities
- Knowledge of Quickbooks or Buildium is an asset
