Staff Nurse – Haemodialysis [SL]

Provide safe and supportive nursing care to patients undergoing haemodialysis. Participate in haemodialysis procedures and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure treatments are carried out safely. Perform AV fistula and AV graft needling in accordance with approved clinical protocols and individual competency requirements. Monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs during dialysis, maintain accurate clinical records and promptly escalate any concerns. Assist doctors and fellow healthcare professionals with patient examinations and treatment-related procedures. Ensure dialysis equipment is properly cleaned, maintained and stored after use. Check that all equipment and consumables are available and suitable for use before treatment begins. Maintain a clean and organised clinical environment in accordance with infection-control and workplace safety standards. Clean and disinfect dialysis machines, treatment chairs and work surfaces after each patient session. Carry out other relevant duties as assigned by the Head Nurse to support patient care and centre operations.
