Sonographer [SL]

Your tasks

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established clinical protocols and SOPs.
• Confirm patient identity and ensure compliance with examination safety requirements and consent procedures.
• Prepare accurate ultrasound reports and maintain complete patient examination records.
• Deliver patient-centred care by safeguarding patients’ well-being, comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
• Provide on-call and after-hours support when required to maintain timely and reliable service delivery.
• Carry out routine equipment quality checks and quality assurance procedures in accordance with manufacturers’ guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Radiography), Diploma in Radiography, or an equivalent qualification.
• Membership in a relevant local or overseas professional body is an advantage, where applicable.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in diagnostic ultrasound or sonography.
• Working knowledge of PACS System.
