Senior Construction Engineer [SL]

Your tasks

• Coordinate and manage construction activities throughout the project lifecycle to achieve project objectives, schedules and quality standards.
• Work with the Project Manager to develop project programmes, monitor progress and resolve construction-related issues.
• Review architectural, structural and engineering drawings to identify discrepancies and ensure design feasibility.
• Liaise with consultants to follow up on technical submissions, approvals, construction documentation and Method Statements (MOS).
• Conduct site inspections to monitor workmanship, construction methods and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
• Identify technical challenges, assess project risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety requirements and project procedures.
• Track project costs, review contractor invoices and assess variation claims in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Prepare progress reports, technical reports and project documentation for management review.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Head of Engineering or Project Management Team.
