Senior Buyer [EL]

Your tasks

• Manage the full purchasing process, including supplier sourcing, requests for quotations (RFQs), price negotiations, shipment arrangements and delivery follow-ups.
• Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) requirements and purchase materials, components and equipment according to production needs.
• Monitor and expedite outstanding purchase orders to ensure materials are delivered in accordance with production schedules.
• Coordinate with supply chain planning teams and suppliers to maintain material availability and meet delivery requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement stocking policies in accordance with management guidelines.
• Liaise with logistics providers to arrange shipments, track deliveries and coordinate customs declaration documentation.
• Manage supplier performance in terms of product quality, delivery reliability and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including vendor registration, purchase orders (POs), delivery notes (DNs) and invoice submissions to Finance.
• Coordinate supplier returns, Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) cases and non-conforming materials.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives to improve purchasing efficiency and achieve savings.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly purchasing reports within the required timelines.
