Project Engineer (CIVIL) [SL]

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand applicable ISO requirements, technical drawings, project scope, contractual obligations and subcontract agreements.
• Coordinate with consultants and relevant stakeholders to clarify and resolve technical issues before construction commences.
• Prepare short- and medium-term work programmes for review and approval by the reporting manager, and execute project activities in accordance with the approved schedule.
• Ensure that construction works comply with approved drawings, established quality procedures and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements.
• Maintain high standards of site housekeeping, cleanliness and workplace organisation.
• Implement quality management procedures, maintain accurate quality records, analyse inspection results and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Maintain complete and accurate EHS, quality and project records in accordance with company procedures, client requirements and applicable regulatory obligations.
• Monitor the handling, storage and use of materials for temporary and permanent works to minimise damage and wastage within specified tolerances.
• Identify and address potential rework and abortive work to minimise their impact on project costs and schedules.
• Perform other reasonable project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager to support project execution.
