Operating Theatre Nurse (AN)

Assist surgeons during operative procedures and ensure that relevant nursing and clinical documentation is completed accurately and promptly.

Perform Scrub Nurse and Anaesthetic Unit (AU) Nurse responsibilities in accordance with established clinical procedures, protocols and standards.

Coordinate with relevant departments and healthcare teams to facilitate the safe and seamless transfer and transport of patients.

Escort, receive and orientate patients during transfers while ensuring their safety, comfort and privacy.

Provide appropriate post-operative recovery care and monitor patients in accordance with established nursing protocols.

Participate in the review and continuous improvement of nursing protocols, policies and procedures.
