Business Analyst for Singstat with 3 years experience

/Ref T24-256 Contract role of 18 - 27 months

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will work with government agencies, product teams, engineers, designers and vendors to translate business and user needs into effective digital solutions.

You will support the end-to-end delivery lifecycle — from problem definition and requirements analysis to implementation and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

• Engage stakeholders and users to understand business needs, pain points and desired outcomes.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation and digitalisation.
• Translate needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate discussions to clarify requirements, priorities, dependencies and trade-offs.
• Work with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers to shape and deliver practical solutions.
• Support backlog refinement, UAT, implementation and commissioning activities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and surface risks, issues and dependencies early.
• Ensure solutions consider relevant security, data governance and Government ICT requirements.
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve products, systems and business processes.

What We Are Looking For

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Experience with government digital services, Jira/Confluence, cloud technologies, APIs, system integration or Government ICT governance would be an advantage.
