Estimation Engineer

Join Wander Developments and be part of a team shaping exceptional commercial developments. Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents, translating technical details into clear scope and cost inputs

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs (QS) for architectural works, maintaining precision and consistency across all measurements.

Apply strong technical knowledge of architectural materials and construction methods when developing cost estimates and BOQs.

Manage full quantity surveying duties — measurement, verification, and cost control — to keep architectural packages financially accurate.

Liaise closely with design and engineering teams to align scope, quantities, and pricing across disciplines.

Identify value engineering opportunities that reduce costs while preserving design intent.

Evaluate tenders and prepare technical/commercial comparisons to support informed decision-making.

Maintain strict compliance with project requirements, client standards, and quality benchmarks throughout the estimation process

Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering

2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, estimation, or cost planning

Strong knowledge of architectural materials, specifications, and construction methods

Experience in BOQs, tendering, value engineering, and budget preparation

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software (Revit is a plus)
