Your Tasks
As a Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/d), you will take on a central role in ensuring and continuously improving our product quality throughout the entire production and value chain. In doing so, you will work closely with production, design, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure consistent compliance with our quality standards.
Your tasks include, in particular:
- Independent execution and documentation of incoming goods, in-process, and final inspections according to drawings and inspection specifications
- Participation in the creation and maintenance of specification documents such as inspection plans and work instructions
- Close cooperation with development and production departments for preventive quality assurance during new developments, in series production, and during structured error analysis
- Processing of internal as well as external complaints, including follow-up of measures using the 8D methodology
- Cooperation with other locations during new product introductions as well as in maintaining quality in series production
- Selection and reliable application of suitable quality assurance measures (Core-Tools)
- Support of the central quality management in the implementation of relevant certifications (e.g., ASME, DGRL, AD2000)
Your Profile
- Completed technical training, e.g., Industriemechaniker (m/f/d), Mechatroniker (m/f/d) or comparable, ideally with further training as a Techniker, Meister, or a comparable qualification
- Additional qualifications in quality management (relevant standards, methods, and Q-tools)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in quality assurance in mechanical engineering or in the metalworking industry
- Confident handling of technical drawings, measuring instruments, as well as MS Office 365
- Experience in handling ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or comparable database systems is an advantage
- Good English skills in speaking and writing
- Structured, independent, and customer-oriented way of working
- Strong problem-solving competence as well as methodical approach
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and diplomatic skill
- High quality awareness, initiative, and teamwork skills
- Occasional willingness to travel to other locations, suppliers, and service providers
