Clerk Operational Purchasing (m/f/d)

Walter Lang GmbH is a medium-sized food company based in Bremen that has been producing honey and sweetening alternatives with an organic focus since 2008. We operate worldwide and process, refine, and fill raw materials for many well-known customers as well as our own brand TanteLy®. Around 110 employees work at our locations in Bremen and Drebber, aiming to drive our traditional company straight into the future.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for the earliest possible date for a Clerk for the Purchasing Department

Your tasks:

• Selection of suppliers and planning and execution of deliveries
• Release and blocking of raw materials
• Complaint processing
• Optimization of purchasing conditions
• Supplier evaluation and approval
• Travel to countries of origin, e.g., to Central and South America, Asia, etc.

Your profile:

• Completed commercial training
• Initial experience in the purchasing of raw materials is desirable, but we also welcome career changers
• Knowledge in using SAP as well as MS-Office is an advantage
• Very good English skills, Spanish skills are an advantage
• Initiative and organizational skills
• Proactive and team-oriented way of working
