In full expansion, WALLIX is looking for its future QA Engineer in Rennes or Paris to strengthen the R&D teams.

Reporting to the QA Manager, you will strengthen the QA team on the testing of our SaaS cybersecurity products. Your mission: participate in the various qualification phases and increase the scale of test automation, within a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.

As a QA Engineer, you design, automate, and manage validation activities throughout the entire development cycle - from functional to network, including system and infrastructure - to guarantee a high level of confidence before each delivery. You are also a driver in the evolution of our practices, our automation, and our test environments.

YOUR MISSIONS

• Contribute to the evolution of our practices, tools, and quality indicators.
• Help R&D teams adopt best practices for testability, automation, and quality from the design stage.
• Intervene, as needed, as an expert on investigations related to client or infrastructure issues.
• Design and maintain test strategies and scenarios covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop and evolve our automation frameworks, as well as robust test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Qualify new features and assess quality risks before each production release.
• Design and maintain validation environments representative of real operating conditions.
• Investigate complex defects and contribute to root cause analyses.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Development, Support, DevOps, and CloudOps teams to improve the overall quality of our products.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our quality practices, tools, and processes.
• Support R&D teams in adopting best practices for testability, automation, and quality from the design stage.
• Provide your expertise during complex investigations related to product, client, or infrastructure issues.

Profile sought:

• You have 5 years or more of experience as a QA engineer in a demanding software or network environment.

• You master automated test development, particularly in Python, and know how to use test frameworks (Robot Framework, Pytest, Selenium, Playwright.).

• You understand network and system architectures (TCP/IP, SSH, RDP, HTTP, Linux & Windows).

• You have solid experience with CI/CD environments and collaborative development tools (Git, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, JIRA), within an Agile/Scrum organization.

• You ensure that quality is integrated from the design stage and contribute to growing the quality culture within the teams.
• You speak English.
