Your tasks

This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for a Physiotherapist who's focus is on providing high-quality rehabilitation care and acute care in various settings including sports, pediatrics and daily professional life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
• Document patient progress accurately in compliance with their college standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Requirements

Experience

• A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Previous experience in a clinic/MSK setting is preferred
• Familiarity with sports rehab and functional rehabilitation preferred
• Acupuncture, McKenzie, FMS, Pelvic Health or other supplementary training preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training (possible supplemental pay for tuition reimbursement can be discussed)
