Welcome to Wajer. We build luxury yachts and take care of everything, so our owners don't have to. Our motto is "Without a worry", and we fulfill that promise every day. We build about 60 yachts per year in series. Our fleet consists of the Wajer 38, 44 and 55, and our flagship, the Wajer 77. More than 400 people work at our shipyards in the Netherlands and at our international hubs.

Wajer Care is our own service organization. We ensure that our owners only have to enjoy their time on the water. From our hubs in places like Ibiza, Mallorca, Miami and Saint-Tropez, a dedicated team manages maintenance and daily operations. For our Experiential Marketing team in Amsterdam, we are looking for an intern. You will help us establish the ultimate Wajer experience worldwide.

What you will do

As an intern in the Experiential Marketing team, you will support a wide variety of tasks. You will be part of the marketing team, but you will also work as a business support intern at our office and the Wajer Care hub in Amsterdam. You will help receive guests and provide high-end hospitality on location. This ensures every visitor experiences the Wajer standard from the moment they arrive.

Your focus will be on assisting in the planning and organization of events and partnerships. These events are directly linked to sales and brand loyalty. You will assist the team in organizing our Welcome Your Wajer events and the exclusive Owners Days. You will also be a key link during major boat shows in the Netherlands, France, Spain and Monaco. Preparing for these requires precise coordination and a keen eye for detail. Additionally, you will help the team with requests from owners that come in at the moment. You will always work alongside experienced colleagues who will guide you. And you will help maintain contact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Your playground

You will primarily work from our Sales and Marketing office and the Wajer Care hub in Amsterdam. However, your playground extends far beyond the Dutch border. Wajer Care is active worldwide at 9 international locations, with hubs in the Netherlands, France, Spain and the United States. Our permanent team consists of 130 to 150 people. During the busy summer season, we scale up with about 80 additional professionals. We manage over 70 tenders in a B2B setting and provide dozens of Wajer 77s on annual contracts.

During events and boat shows, you will be present on-site. The environment is demanding and the pace is high. You have a natural drive to arrange everything to perfection for our owners. You are enthusiastic and proactive, and you are always looking for ways to help the team exceed expectations. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously. You easily maintain an overview and know how to prioritize well when deadlines coincide. You present yourself in a polished and confident manner, and you feel comfortable with diverse groups of people. You understand what high-end hospitality entails and act accordingly.

Furthermore, you meet the following criteria:

• You are studying International Business Management, Hotelschool, Hospitality Management or Leisure & Event Management
• You are available for a six-month internship starting in February
• You speak fluent Dutch and English
• Experience in the hospitality or event sector is a clear advantage. This will allow you to start quickly and provide immediate support to the team
