Welcome to Wajer – where luxury and craftsmanship meet

Wajer builds luxury yachts and delivers them all over the world. Our shipyards in Heeg and Lemmer are running at full capacity. There, we build approximately 60 yachts per year in series. The relationship with our owners truly begins after the launch. That is the domain of Wajer Care. With a permanent team of over 130 colleagues, we ensure that owners can sail without a worry. Our motto is " Without a worry".

Wajer Care is divided into three segments: Operational Care, Technical Care and Refits. We have a strong presence in France. We operate from our location in Saint-Tropez and a large winter storage facility in Port Napoleon. This location near Marseille is expandable to 10,000 square meters. To optimally facilitate the technical teams at our French hub, we are looking for a decisive Parts Coördinator.

What will you do?

As Parts Coördinator, you are the engine behind our warehouse at the French service hub. You ensure that the technical teams have exactly the right materials. Only then can they keep our owners' yachts in absolute top condition. You receive incoming materials and parts on a daily basis. This varies from heavy engine parts to delicate cushion sets. You check every shipment immediately for accuracy and potential damage. Is a specific part missing for a Wajer 44? Then you switch directly with the co-maker to arrange a rapid redelivery. After that, you process everything flawlessly in our inventory administration.

You are always looking ahead. You keep a sharp eye on current stock levels and signal well in advance when we need to reorder specific parts. You place the orders and monitor delivery times. Managing return flows is also under your responsibility. You coordinate the shipment of defective or incorrect parts back to the co-makers. Additionally, you will receive the responsibility to further professionalize the warehouse at the hub. You analyze current traffic routes and storage methods. You set up the processes more efficiently and ensure a logical structure. A tidy warehouse saves the mechanics valuable time. You ensure that frequently used filters and fluids are always within reach.

Your playing field

You work within the Technical Services department at our French hub. This is an international and demanding environment. You work daily with mechanics, project coordinators and external co-makers. This position is a temporary role until April 1, 2027. You are replacing a colleague who is absent due to long-term illness. Your arrival is crucial to ensure continuity in our warehouse. The dynamics of Wajer Care are highly seasonal. In the winter months, the focus is on major maintenance and refits in the sheds. In the summer months, the yachts are sailing extensively along the coast. During that time, our organization scales up significantly. About 80 extra colleagues join to handle the summer peak.

During that high season, a strict rule applies to yachts with a hub contract. A request before 19:00 means delivery or resolution the next day. "No" is simply not an option. This requires rock-solid logistical preparation. You switch gears rapidly when a mechanic needs a part urgently. At the same time, you maintain calm and keep the administration in order.

What do you bring?

You are extremely structured and work with utmost precision. Accurate inventory administration is, for you, the foundation of good work. You understand that a small administrative error can have major consequences for the technical team's planning. You are proactive and do not wait for instructions. You see for yourself what needs to be done in the warehouse and take action immediately.

Furthermore, we would like to see the following in your profile:

  • You have at least a completed mbo 3 education in a technical or logistical direction.
  • You bring demonstrable experience in parts management, warehouse work or purchasing.
  • You are administratively strong and accurately record all data in the systems.
  • You communicate clearly and directly with colleagues on the shop floor and with international co-makers.
  • Because you work in an international environment, a good command of the English language is necessary.
  • Knowledge of the French language is, of course, a major plus in this region.

What can you expect?

We ask a lot of your organizational talent, accuracy and sense of responsibility. You will receive a temporary contract until April 1, 2027, to cover the absence of your colleague due to illness.
