OutSystems Developer
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced OutSystems Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain custom web applications for claims and policy management.
You will work on applications used by internal teams and external users such as agents, adjusters, and underwriters. The role involves developing new features, fixing bugs, making system configurations, and integrating applications with external systems using the OutSystems low-code platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, test, and deploy applications using OutSystems
Understand business requirements and technical workflows and translate them into working solutions
Develop new features, fix bugs, and perform application configuration changes
Extend OutSystems applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Work with data using SQL, JSON, CSV, and XML
Build and integrate REST APIs with external systems
Design and maintain relational databases and data models
Design and build REST APIs
Contribute to UI/UX design and improve application usability
Participate in Agile planning, development, and team meetings
Follow application architecture, scalability, security, and development best practices
Support applications deployed in production environments
Requirements

4+ years of hands-on experience with OutSystems
Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining OutSystems applications in production
2+ years of experience developing full-stack web applications
Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and REST APIs
Experience with relational database design and data modeling
Ability to work with JSON, CSV, and XML
Experience integrating applications with external systems through APIs
Understanding of application architecture, scalability, and development best practices
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a development team
Experience working in an Agile environment
Nice to Have
Experience in the finance or insurance industry
PostgreSQL experience
Azure DevOps experience, including planning and source control
Experience with OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC)
