Supply Chain Manager
At our Wabtec plant in Nýřany (Plzeň - north), we manufacture air conditioning units for rail vehicles. We are a leader in our field. We do not engage in mass production. We fulfill the specific wishes of our customers. Annually, we produce more than 4,500 air conditioning units, which we supply all over the world. Our customers include companies such as Siemens, Hyundai Rotem, Alstom, Škoda, Stadler, and many others. For 20 years, we have been a stable employer with certain orders for several years ahead.
WHY US We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager who will take responsibility for managing the supply chain in our manufacturing plant. You will ensure a smooth flow of material from suppliers to customer dispatch, manage production planning, logistics, warehouse management, and the development of the Supply Chain team. Your decisions will have a direct impact on the plant's performance and customer satisfaction. We are a stable company with more than 20 years of history, and our air conditioning units for rail vehicles can be found all over the world. How can you contribute to the change and development of the company? You will be responsible for leading the Supply Chain team You will manage production planning, materials, warehouses, and internal logistics Your task will be to ensure material availability for production You will also focus on optimizing inventory, working capital, and logistics processes You will be in contact with suppliers to resolve operational risks You will monitor and evaluate key KPI, support digitalization, and continuous process improvement You will cooperate with production, finance, quality, and international Wabtec teams
What do we need to know about you? You have previous experience leading Supply Chain in a manufacturing company You know and have experience in the areas of production planning, logistics, purchasing, and inventory management You are able to develop and lead a team You have analytical thinking and the ability to make decisions based on data You cannot do without communicative knowledge of the English language What can we offer you?
