Master Data Management (Oracle) & Configuration Control Specialist (CCB)
Mission ▪ Key missions of the position: ▪ Own enterprise master data and configuration control processes to ensure product, material, and manufacturing data integrity across PLM and ERP systems. ▪ Govern operational implementation of engineering and manufacturing changes through structured Change Control Board (CCB) processes. ▪ Ensure accurate management of BOMs, routings, material masters, product configurations, and engineering change implementation across the product lifecycle. ▪ Drive data governance, configuration management, and change implementation excellence to support manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, and operations objectives. ▪ Establish standardized master data and configuration management practices that improve operational efficiency, inventory control, product traceability, and compliance. - Own creation, maintenance, governance, and continuous improvement of master data across ERP and
PLM systems.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance for Material Masters, BOMs,
Routings, Customer Masters, Vendor Masters, Work Centers, and Product Configurations.
- Establish and deploy master data standards, governance controls, and business processes across
functions.
- Monitor data quality performance and drive corrective actions to eliminate data integrity issues.
- Support ERP implementations, system upgrades, data migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
2) Configuration Control & Change Management
- Lead operational configuration control activities and ensure execution of approved engineering and
manufacturing changes.
- Govern Change Control Board (CCB) processes and facilitate cross-functional reviews for change
implementation.
- Ensure alignment of EBOM, MBOM, routing, effectivity, and ERP data throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive configuration baseline management, revision control, traceability, and product lifecycle
governance.
- Coordinate implementation of engineering changes while minimizing production, quality, and inventory
risks. 3) Change Implementation & Readiness Management
- Lead cross-functional assessment of engineering changes involving manufacturing, quality, supply
chain, sourcing, planning, and operations teams.
- Ensure readiness of master data, materials, suppliers, routings, tooling, quality plans, and production
systems before implementation.
- Govern phase-in/phase-out strategies, material disposition decisions, and product cut-in plans.
- Drive successful implementation and closure of change initiatives across manufacturing operations.
4) Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Identify improvement opportunities in data management and configuration control processes.
- Lead standardization initiatives across sites, product lines, and business functions.
- Drive automation, system optimization, and process simplification initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and analytics to support decision-making and business performance reviews.
5) Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement,
Production, Planning, Finance, and IT functions.
- Act as central point of contact for master data, configuration management, and engineering change
governance.
- Support business stakeholders with data governance guidance, change management expertise, and
operational readiness reviews.
- Ensure alignment between business priorities and change implementation plans.
6) Governance, Compliance & Audit Management
- Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, regulatory expectations, and
internal policies.
- Maintain complete traceability and audit readiness for configuration management and master data
processes.
- Support internal, external, and customer audits related to product configuration, ERP master data, and
engineering change controls.
- Drive closure of audit findings and compliance improvement actions.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production
Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- Master's Degree preferred.
Professional Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in Master Data Management, Configuration Management, Manufacturing
Engineering, Engineering Change Management, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Strong experience working with PLM and ERP systems such as Teamcenter, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent
platforms.
- Experience in BOM Management, Product Configuration, Material Master Data Governance, and Change
