Your tasks

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT SENIOR You will become part of a stable finance department of 6 members and will work closely with the chief accountant and other colleagues across the organization.

What will be your contribution? You will ensure the correct and timely bookkeeping of the company and participate in important accounting and financial processes within the international Wabtec group. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality of financial outputs, financial statements, and audits.

How can you contribute to the change and development of the company?

• Management and accounting of fixed assets
• Asset inventory
• Accounting of internal accounting documents
• Monthly and annual closing operations
• Cooperation during internal and external audits
• Preparation of documents for reporting within the group
• Monitoring the correctness of accounting processes and proposing improvements
• Cooperation with colleagues from finance, controlling, and other departments

Requirements

What do we need to know about you?

• At least secondary education in an economic field
• At least 5 years of experience in a financial accountant position
• Good orientation in Czech accounting and tax regulations
• Experience with financial statements and audits
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• English at least at level A2 for written communication
• Meticulousness, independence, and a responsible approach to work
• Ability to find connections and come up with suggestions for improvement
