Fleet Performance Management Internship
This position is for on-site work in Araraquara, SP.
Who will you work with? You will work in the Fleet Performance Management (FPM) team at Wabtec, working together with highly skilled professionals from the Engineering, Fleet Management, Program Management, and Reliability areas. The team is responsible for monitoring fleet performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring the reliability of the products and services offered to customers.
How will you make a difference? As a Fleet Performance Management intern, you will support the monitoring of fleet performance and reliability programs, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the continuous improvement of the organization's processes. You will participate in the management and monitoring of indicators, operational data analysis, system control, and support for projects focused on fleet reliability and performance. Additionally, you will have constant interaction with multidisciplinary teams, developing analytical, communication, and project management skills in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will participate in frequent interactions with various areas of Wabtec, providing the opportunity to develop your presentation, negotiation, and influence skills.
What do we want to know about you? Requirements Currently studying Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related areas) or Analysis and Systems Development;
Expected graduation from 2029 onwards;
Intermediate English;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
Knowledge of Power BI;
Knowledge of VBA will be considered a plus;
Analytical, organized, and results-oriented profile;
Proactivity, dynamism, and ability to work in a team;
Good verbal and written communication;
Interest in working in the areas of operations, engineering, and product performance.
How will your day-to-day be? Activities, routine The work will be performed on-site in Araraquara/SP, performing the following activities: Support the Fleet Performance Manager in internal and customer communications related to fleet performance, reliability programs, warranty, and failure investigation;
Keep monitoring and control systems updated, such as Salesforce, CCD, Reliance, and other area tools;
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project execution plans and reliability improvement programs;
Work together with the Engineering, Fleet Management, and Program Management areas to identify and solve reliability problems;
Support the monitoring of engineering projects, contributing to the achievement of established goals and deadlines;
Assist in building technical scopes, schedules, and cost controls for modification and improvement programs;
Perform data analysis and fleet performance indicators;
Contribute to post-project analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented actions;
Support engineers and area managers in monitoring, control, and continuous improvement of processes.
