For our client, an established company in the consumer goods industry in Saarland, we are looking for a (Senior) Financial Accountant (gn). The company is part of a family-run group and combines stability, clear structures, and short decision-making paths. We are looking for a personality who has a confident command of accounting, takes on responsibility, and actively helps shape processes.

(Senior) Financial Accountant (gn)

Your tasks:

• Participation in monthly and annual financial statements, including accruals, inventory, and reconciliations
• Reporting and reconciliation with group accounting
• Calculation of manufacturing costs and valuation of finished goods
• Processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts, including discrepancy clarification and correction entries
• Creation of evaluations and variance analyses
• Maintenance of the cost center structure as well as posting and checking cash movements
• Management of receivables and dunning processes, including monitoring of cash discount agreements
• Support of sales with contract topics, contract entries, risk positions, and monthly reports
• Maintenance of master data, support during audits, creation of Intrastat reports
• Participation in the optimization and standardization of financial processes

Your profile:

• Commercial training or comparable qualification with a focus on finance or controlling
• Several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in a group environment
• Further training to become a certified Bilanzbuchhalter is an advantage
• Good knowledge of SAP, Excel, and ideally Power BI
• Structured, independent, and precise way of working
• Analytical understanding, strong communication skills, and team orientation
• Good written and spoken English skills, French skills are a plus
