IT Systems Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Design, develop and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions based on business requirements.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender .
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support , including remote troubleshooting.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability and security.
• Support network and firewall solutions.
• Coordinate IT hardware deployment, replacement and lifecycle management.
• Perform system updates, backups and restorations.
• Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Maintain IT documentation, system configuration records, SOPs and user guides.
• Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Support IT procurement activities and vendor coordination.
• Provide technical support onsite, remotely and onboard vessels when required.
• Participate in after-hours/weekend standby support and overseas travel when operationally required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments .
• More than 3 years of L1/L2 IT support experience in a medium-sized or large enterprise environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender .
• At least 2 years of technical exposure to network and firewall solutions .
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to provide standby support and travel overseas when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft 365 Administrator certification or equivalent.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator certification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting IT users and equipment in maritime, offshore or vessel environments .
