Testing Laboratory Specialist - Material Flammability and Explosivity, Technical Specialists in Other Fields

The company possesses modern and comprehensive laboratory, testing, expert, development, and production facilities. VVUÚ offers services to all companies where there is a risk of industrial accident, explosion, or fire. The company is a notified body for the conformity assessment of selected products according to EU harmonized regulations. We are looking for a technically oriented colleague who wants to participate in the professional testing of material flammability and explosivity in an accredited testing laboratory. What will be your job description:

• Independent performance of flammability and explosivity tests in an accredited testing laboratory.
• Working with test samples and laboratory equipment, operating measuring devices.
• Performing dust explosion tests and flammability tests of liquid and solid materials.
• Evaluating measured data, its analysis, and processing of test reports.
• Cooperation on the development and improvement of testing methods, especially in the area of conveyor belt flammability.
• Active participation in the development of a modern laboratory workplace.
• Communication with customers from the Czech Republic and abroad.

What knowledge and experience do we expect:

• Secondary or Higher education in a technical field (fields focused on safety, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related technical disciplines are an advantage).
• Basic knowledge of material flammability issues or measuring technology is an advantage, not a requirement.
• Experience in a testing laboratory is welcome, but we are also happy to train skilled graduates.
• Desire to learn new things and develop in the field of testing material flammability and explosivity.
• Communicative knowledge of the English language (min. level B1) for working with international standards and communicating with foreign customers.
• User knowledge of PC work.
• Group B driver's license.
• Orientation in technical standards and safety regulations is an advantage.
• Independence, meticulousness, analytical thinking, a responsible approach, and the ability to effectively solve technical tasks.
