Job Description

• You lead and develop the mechanical design from concept to detail design and monitor the technical quality, manufacturability, and compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• You coordinate the mechanical engineering with other disciplines and align design activities with both local and international project teams.
• You review designs and calculations, act as the technical point of contact for mechanical topics, and support customers, project teams, and external partners.
• You mentor junior engineers, stimulate knowledge sharing, and actively contribute ideas for optimizations, innovative solutions, and digitalization, while remaining involved in the realization of the design.
• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanics, mechanical engineering, or a similar technical field and have several years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• You have experience within technically complex environments, preferably within datacenters, mission critical environments, or complex buildings.
• You have experience in technically managing and coordinating mechanical design activities within projects and possess good knowledge of mechanical installations and relevant standards and guidelines.
• You speak fluent English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
