General Accountant

Location: Venta del Astillero, Jalisco (next to Campestre).

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Two Saturdays per month from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

What will be your mission?

To guarantee correct financial control and compliance with the company's tax obligations in Mexico, as well as to coordinate the accounting information of operations in the United States.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns (ISR, IVA, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and SAT).
• Perform bank reconciliations and control financial movements.
• Prepare cash flow and financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Record accounting journal entries and validate payment requests.
• Maintain updated accounting records for operations in Mexico and the USA.
• Manage invoicing, vouchers, and records in QuickBooks.
• Follow up on accounting processes under the RESICO regime.
• Participate in the implementation of an ERP system for the accounting and financial area.
• Detect and follow up on discrepancies in financial processes.
• Support administrative activities related to the accounting area.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general and tax accounting.
• Knowledge of the ISR Law, IVA, and tax obligations in Mexico.
• Experience in bank reconciliations, financial statements, and tax calculation.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or some ERP (SAP, CONTPAQi, or similar).
• Advanced Excel mastery (pivot tables, formulas, and information analysis).
• Intermediate/Advanced English
